How to use
- Tap any cell to start. The first cell and its neighbors are always safe.
- Each number tells how many mines touch that cell. Use them to work out where mines are.
- Long-press (or right-click) a cell, or turn on flag mode, to place a flag.
- When a number has that many flags around it, tap the number to open the rest of its neighbors.
FAQ
Can I hit a mine on my first tap?
No. Mines are placed after your first tap, keeping that cell and its neighbors clear.
How do I flag on a phone?
Hold a cell for about half a second, or turn on flag mode so a normal tap places a flag.
Why is the board tall on my phone?
Eight columns keeps cells big enough to tap. On wider screens the board turns sideways.
Can I play with a keyboard?
Yes. Use the arrow keys to move, Enter or Space to open, and F to flag.
