What you enter
fiddlenook tools run entirely in your browser. Numbers and text you type, and files such as photos and PDFs you pick, are never sent to or stored on a server. There is no sign-up, so we do not collect names or email addresses.
What stays on your device
Conveniences such as your light/dark choice, game high scores and daily puzzle records are kept only in your browser storage (localStorage). If you pick a language, a lang cookie (1 year) remembers it for your next visit. Clearing site data in your browser removes them.
Access logs
The site is served through Cloudflare, which may log access data such as IP address, country and browser details when pages load. Your country may be used to choose the first-page language, but we do not store it. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google may also receive font requests.
Advertising
We do not show ads at the moment. If we start showing ads such as Google AdSense, advertising partners may use cookies to serve personalized ads; we will update this page first with the cookies used and how to opt out.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see only aggregate numbers such as visits, page views, referring sites, countries, and device and browser types. It does not use cookies or browser storage, and it does not identify or follow individual visitors. Pages load a small statistics script from Cloudflare.
