FAQ
What is pace?
The time it takes to cover one kilometer or mile. A 5'30" per km pace is about 10.9 km/h.
How are predicted times calculated?
With the Riegel formula (time × distance ratio^1.06), which allows for slowing down over longer races. Training, course and weather all matter, so treat it as an estimate.
How long is a half or full marathon?
A marathon is 42.195 km (26.2 miles) and a half is 21.0975 km (13.1 miles). The buttons fill in these exact values.
